| WHY TIRUVANNAMALAI | A thorough study was made in major cities of Tamilnadu in the past 5 years in 5 locations viz. Thiruchendur, Madurai, Palani, Rameswaram and Kancheepuram. Finally Tiruvannamalai has been choosen because of location, scope for the project, need for food, economic background of the society and the place of world famous for spirituality. |
| ABOUT THE PROJECT | Our project will be a replica of the Akshya Patra Project and if we start and implement it in Tiruvannamalai then our state will also work towards removing hunger of the children and Tiruvannamalai will become a pioneer district in the Tamilnadu state. |

1. School children studying in govt. Schools & govt. Aided schools 2. Patient’s relatives in govt. Hospitals 3. Orphan children & senior citizens residing in homes 4. Economic backward children living in hills and remote places 5. People visiting Tiruvannamalai and walking through giri valam and other sadhus residing already. |
| PROVIDING OF FOOD |
A. Every day food will be prepared and sent to the schools before noon so as to enable them to take mid day meals (Nutritious and Hygienic) B. At the Tiruvannamalai centre food will be served from morning 8.00 am to 8.00 pm |
| WHY TO PROVIDE FOOD |
1. Food is a medicine and to be taken 3 times a day. 2. If food is not taken then slowly people may die. 3. All the people especially people living in economically backward position are not getting daily. |

Food provided to less income people through “AMMA CANTEEN”
Tamilnadu State is the first state to open Amma Unavagam in Chennai and in other places wherein low income people can take three times food (tiffin, meals and tiffin) for just Rs.20 to Rs.25. This is one of the best venture for removing the hunger of the people and this system is being copied in other states also. |
