Annamalai Charitable Foundation organised a Relief for Poor programme at Gngkolathur village, Chithamoor Taluk, Maduranthagam on 17.09.2023. Rs.1.60 lakhs worth of Dhothies, Towels, Sarees and Rice & Provision kits were given to 100 families. Lunch also provided to the entire village (Kesari, Sambar Rice, pottato poriyal, Curd Rice and Pickle). A cheque of Rs.10000/- each was given to Smt. Sanmuga Priya (physically handicapped) and to Sri Ramakrishna Sevalaya for education. This entire programme was sponsored by Smt. Padmavathy and Shri Meenakshi Sundaram. Before this programme all the Women villagers performed Vizhakku Pooja in fron of Nondi Marriamman Temple.
